I'm hosting another Business Integrity Day on Friday, September 5, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. Eastern until 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

We'll meet each hour, for 5 minutes at the top of each hour -- from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. During that time, we'll quickly "go around" the virtual room and ask each of you what you plan to complete in the next hour -- call clients, work on resumes, do your accounting for the month -- whatever you need to get done.

During the next 55 minutes, we'll work on what we said we were going to do. Then, we'll repeat the process each hour.  At the top of the next hour, you'll quickly share how you did and what you plan to do the next hour. 

Get energized.  Stay focused. And, don't feel like you're working alone!

Microsoft One Note

Microsoft One Note: A Great Way to Organize Your Notes

I use a wonderful tool called Microsoft 2003 One Note. It saves automatically (that's a blessing!), has folders that can be named, and you can even change the file folder colors. This tool is useful for organizing projects that you need to keep in view. This tool can always be open and ready on your desk top. Perfect for quick navigation and taking notes on the fly. One more nice feature is that you can "peg" it on your desktop so that it is always visible (and resizable). I use it to take notes, cut and paste resources etc. Very quick, very convenient and really easy to use. And, with the auto-saving feature, no worries if you walk away or forget to save something.
